 Day 1: Arrive in Ronda. Arrive, size bikes.
Take an easy spin Visiting Ronda, Spain, which captivates with its dramatic setting atop deep gorges, ancient architecture, and a rich cultural tapestry.
The iconic Puente Nuevo bridge spans the El Tajo gorge, offering breathtaking views, while historic landmarks, charming streets, and vibrant local culture
make Ronda a captivating destination for travelers. Its bullring is one of the oldest in Spain, the Alameda del Tajo is a lovely walk with a great viewing point,
and there are the gardens of the Rey Moro Palace, the Arab baths, and more. And of course, going out for tapas in the bars of Ronda is always a pleasure. 

Ride option -  (if time allows) to visit Bodega Doña Felisa winery    30km/600m 
Hike Option -  to visit Finca Descalzos Viejos Winery.

Day 2: ride  "Ronda loop".  50km/1000m. 
Our cycling journey will begin with a descent out of Ronda, into the deep Guadiaro Valley. We'll then make our first climb of the week, to the stunningly-
situated white villages of Jimera de Libar and Benaojan, Take a break and have coffee with the locals in the main plaza of one of the sleepy villages  before
finally descending back to Ronda. After a day of cycling, unwind by the pool, or try out a new dining spot in town for dinner.

Day 3: ride to Zahara de la Sierra.  Ride 54km/800m  
Embarking on a scenic journey from Ronda to Zahara unveils a mesmerizing cycling experience. Discovering beautiful
Grazalema, nestled below atmospheric, limestone mountains into the heart of the awesome Grazalema mountain range.
Rising over 1600 metres, with bright jagged limestone peaks and oak and Spanish fir forests, it is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful parts of the week!
A twisting road, that threads through an enchanting cork oak forest, will take us the village of Grazalema itself; a terrific sight of tiled roofs and white-washed buildings
nestled beneath the Penon Grande and San Cristobal peaks. The village is famous for its hand-woven woollen blankets and goats cheese and its restaurants
dish up tasty mountain fare. The winding roads showcase the raw beauty of Andalusian landscapes, featuring olive groves, rolling hills, and glimpses of pristine lakes.
As you pedal, the charming village of Zahara emerges on the horizon, creating a seamless blend of adventure and picturesque vistas. Possibility to sample the local olive oil at Molino el Vinculo.

Zahara also boasts a medieval castle, whitewashed houses, and a vibrant cultural scene, making it a popular destination for those seeking a blend of history, nature, and tranquility.

Option to ride "Puerto de las Palomas" If you're up for a challenge and want to add some spice to your ride, you can tackle the Puerto de las Palomas, a well-known climb among the riders of the Vuelta de España, which offers spectacular views of the surrounding hills and lake as you twist your way up and over the pass.

 

Day 4 : ride Zahara to Olvera. 49km/730m. 
From Zahara to Olvera offers a delightful adventure through the Andalusian countryside.  The route unveils the charm
of small villages, and as you approach Olvera, its iconic Moorish castle and whitewashed houses create a captivating
backdrop against the rolling hills. It's a ride filled with scenic beauty and a taste of rural Andalusian life.

Hiking to the castle top is worthwhile, along with visiting the central church.

Day 5 : ride Olvera to Ronda. 41km/950m.
Cycling from Olvera to Ronda, passingr through the captivating town of Setenil de las Bodegas. 
As we depart Olvera it is worth visiting Santuario de Nuestra Señora de los Remedios and then continue
Pedaling along meandering roads flanked by olive groves, witnessing the unique charm of Setenil's houses built into the cliffs.
Enjoy some gourmet tapas paired with the local wine varietals As you continue towards Ronda, the landscape transitions, offering
panoramic views of valleys and hills. The ride is a harmonious blend of historical richness and natural beauty,
culminating in the iconic surroundings of Ronda.

Setenil de las Bodegas is famous for its remarkable architecture, where many of the houses and buildings are built into the natural caves and rock overhangs along the cliffs of the Rio Trejo. This unique construction style provides a distinctive and picturesque setting, making Setenil de las Bodegas a notable and visually striking destination in Andalusia, Spain. It's a very photogenic spot!

Possible to visit vineyards including Bodegas Ramos-Paul for a tour and tasting.

Tonight, we suggest going out on the town to enjoy a Flamenco guitar show performed in a traditional tablao of Ronda before having another memorable dining experience in town.

Day 6 : Continue your journey on to  Seville, the capital of Andalusia, boasts several World Heritage Sites
and its own exuberant charm, making it one of Spain's most attractive cities. If you wish to take a private shuttle to Sevilla,
we suggest you contact our local driver ahead of time to arrange the transfer.
