Personalized Small Group Active TravelAndiamo Adventours offers informative and personable active travel opportunities; featuring affordable walking, hiking, bicycling or mountain biking adventures in Italy, Croatia, France, Switzerland, Germany/Austria and California. Our fully-supported trips typically have 6-8 participants and never exceed 12 unless for private groups. Each trip list a terrain rating from casual/easy to avid/intermediate. However, each tour is designed with variable routes so that you can enjoy most any biking or walking tour at the pace/distance that suits your idea of an active vacation. We make use of outstanding 3 to 4-star charming chateaux, inns, framstays and restored, villas & palaces. Equally memorable are our variety of casually elegant dining establishments, where you choose from a wide range of regional specialties for each course. Ask about our exciting new trips or design a custom tour!Our tour calendar is always expanding thanks to our clientele's desire in having us design unique custom tours. In 2007 we added a bike tours through Germany & Austria, a Burgundy and Alsace bike tour in France, and a beautiful bike route from Gstaad to Interlaken in Switzerland. In 2008 we offer a new Italian bike tour in Calabria; the undiscovered and fascinating toe of Italy's boot. In 2009 a California walk, bike and kayak tour of Monterey Bay is to be added. We may have a few other surprises, so stay posted. custom tours are an ideal option for families, friends and special interest groups who may wish to modify one of our existing tours, travel on a date not offered. For the avid cyclist we follow Italy's Giro bike race in May, the Tour de Suisse rACE event in Switzerland in June and our very popular and affordable Pro Races in Europe in the Pyrenees and Alps. For the avid hiker a variety of options are available within the European Alps to. Or have us design a trip for a unique destination not offered on our tour calendar.
