Amalfi Coast and Isle of Capri Walking - Trip Overview
Discover what drew the Hollywood stars of the 50’s to places like Amalfi, Positano and the Isle of Capri. Walk past the gardens that inspired novelist & artist; then along the trails, which were once lifelines between villages and monasteries.

Days 1-2: Sea of Sirens & Isle of Capri
Cross the Sea of Sirens for hikes along the jutting Sorrento Peninsula’s open coastal pathways, and then spend a full day exploring the Isle of Capri, an aristocratic retreat since the days of Nero.

Days 3-4: Positano & “Walk of the Gods”
Past lives lived on the edge are invoked along the trails from the whitewashed terraced jewel, Positano. Ancient towers perched on vertical cliffs, fields of wildflowers, groves of cypress and staggering open-sea views highlight our walks. Marvel at the abandoned 16th century towers that act as beacons for our walk through the wildest and most isolate part of the peninsula.

Days 5-6: Ravello, Ceramics & Paper
The “Walk of the Mills” uncovers the glory of Amalfi where exotic architecture, palm lined streets and ancient relics of past glory are displayed. A boat tour of the “Emerald Grotto” and visit to the historic paper mill precedes a fascinating look at breathtaking Ravello.
