Witness the Tour de Suisse for Avid Cyclist - Trip Overview
Just like the incredible nail biting finishes of the past this past year's 71th Tour was also decided on the last day, and we were there; up close to enjoy it. For many years Jan Ullrich chose this as his favorite race to serve as his tune up to the TDF. This race offers the avid cyclist an ideal reason to scale world class passes as well as get an up-close look at the elite pro riders in action. The race which takes place within the most beautiful of the European Alps has always attracted the top riders and teams who use this race as their warm-up to the big race in France.

TDSOur tour as always coincides with the Tour de Suisse from June 14-22. As the pros crisscross the country you enjoy long and challenging days of cycling the world class passes and when appropriate we intersect with the race itself. We not only schedule days to watch the tour, but maintain a flexible style that allows us to break away from any planned day of riding to follow as much of the tour as you’d like and still have plenty of time for cultural intake.

During last years tour we enjoyed several opportunities to get close to the pros and not only collected autographs and pictures, but were able to inspect the equipment and talk with them prior to the race director calling out stage starts. Hard to imagine, and as a Swiss/American owned company this really excited us to be your host during this exciting race.
