“Dolomite Stages”

This trip is designed for the avid cyclist and can be modified for private groups to suit any number of days or ability level.

Three Great Options:
- The week the Giro d'Italia passes by May 23-30
- July 3-11 particpate in the Maratona on July 4, then scale the legendary passes within the Dolomites & Italian Alps the remainder of the week.
- Orgainize a private group for anytime between May to Sept. 7th per your desired budget and inclussions.

The Giro speaks for itself; the grand tradition, Italy's howcase event and the first of the grand races to commeorate the pro racing season. Below we have listed a day to day summary of a typical Giro week. Keep in mind that each year our tour route and dates are designed around the races itinerary when the route is announced in January.

The "Maratona", a unique amateur one day race route of 175 Km and no fewer than seven Dolomite passes; due to Giro route scheduling, we did not conduct a Giro tour in the Dolomites for 2009. Each year our tour route is based on the race tour course.

This tour complements our affordable trips in France's Alps and Pyrenees and our trip during the Swiss Pro race event in June. Our tours typically make use of outstanding 3 star lodging and most meals are provided. Along with our usual first rate sag support, our vans are fully-equipped and contain all the tools and equipment you will need. Our multilingual guides are ready to support you as you scale the passes you read about.
